Ruffle Cold Shoulder Sweater // White Destroyed Denim Shorts // Booties

BP. Ruffle Cold Shoulder Sweater // Express Short // Vince Camuto Booties // Melrose & Market Bracelets // BaubleBar Earrings, similar HERE and HERE // Rebecca Minkoff Crossbody Bag, similar HERE // Ray-Ban Sunglasses // Roseberry LipSense

Even though it’s not quite sweater weather (thank goodness!) this ruffle cold shoulder sweater is super light weight.  It’s perfect for those cool nights when we transition into fall later this summer.  Sub the shorts for high waisted jeans once fall hits and you’ll be all set this with this cutie.  It comes in other colors and is less than $32.  The price goes up to $49 after the sale.  I’m wearing an XS for reference.

My white destroyed denim shorts are on sale for less than $35 right now!  These are a summer staple for me.  They go with just about everything.

I couldn’t be more excited to have my hands on the new version of Vince Camuto’s heeled booties.  I have a similar color bootie with a lower heel, which definitely serves a purpose, but I like the option of having this higher heel to elevate a look.  I love how they dip lower on the top of your foot to give the illusion of a longer leg when wearing with shorts, skirts, and dresses.  They’re super comfortable and part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Other colors are available.  Last year these sold out in my size in this color before I decided to pull the trigger. Don’t hesitate if you are even thinking you need this bootie!

I’ve been sporting my Rebecca Minkoff olive green crossbody nonstop since I received it earlier this week with my order from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.  It’s the perfect size for my small wallet, phone keys, lip gloss, and Epi-Pen (bee allergy and have to carry this massive thing with me everywhere I go!). Unfortunately it just sold out but I’ll keep my eye out for it to be restocked.  HERE it is in a metallic gold.  I seriously debated between that one and this one.  So, if anyone local gets the gold we can trade after awhile!

I cannot visit Nordstrom Rack and not visit the accessories department.  I always find the best stuff!  This week I found this set of bracelets which also comes in other colors.  I recently bought a different druzy bracelet that just sits on a tiny chain.  I can’t tighten it to fit my wrist and the stone always flips to the bottom of my wrist.  I thought it would work better on a pull string  and low and behold that’s just what this one is!  Fits perfectly!

I’ve been eyeing seed bead earrings there the last few visits and HAD to have these BaubleBar earrings that were new since I was there last!  They aren’t available online but check your local store.  I did find a few similar options HERE and HERE.

Remember that tomorrow the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale opens to the public!  Until then only card holders have had access.  Many items that have sold out will be restocked so set your alarms!

My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale order has been delivered!  Yay!  I’m really pleased with all of my finds.

This look includes many of my new items.  I knew I had to have this blush ruffle tee dress as soon as I saw it.  I just love the casual girly vibe it has.  Unfortunately the dress is currently sold out in all colors but it will likely be restocked on the 21st when the sale opens to the public. (Until then only Nordstrom card holders have access to the sale).  I’ll keep my eye out for it and let you know.  If you don’t want to wait HERE and HERE are two similar options at the same price point.

I totally envision myself wearing this dress with some sneakers but chose my gold metallic mules this time.  They are from H&M and sold out online.  HERE and HERE are some other gold options.  If you are game for silver, HERE and HERE are some that are included in the Anniversary Sale.  Both also come in a nude color that I’m crushing on.  Couldn’t find that color anywhere when I was looking this spring!

If you’re looking for a lightweight jacket to transition into fall with, this asymmetrical one is a good option.  It zips on a diagonal but when it’s open it drapes in this ruffle waterfall which I love.  It’s available in other colors as well.

An item that I was most excited about in my order were these rose gold tiered tassel earrings.  They are so much more beautiful in person with the metallic threads that are hard to capture in a photo.  These will go with so much of what I own – blush, olive, burgundy, etc.

I was eyeing this Rebecca Minkoff Olive Crossbody when I was placing my initial order (at 3:00 am!) but ended up placing it later in the day when I just couldn’t stop thinking about it!  Again, it will go with with a lot of what I own and will be especially beautiful this fall.

Lastly, this blush choker wasn’t part of sale, I actually found it at Nordstrom Rack prior but it’s such a stunner.  It’s lined with blush granite stones.

I actually placed an additional order today for a few home items.  I keep finding more that I want when I go back to check on sold out items that I missed!

I hope you get everything you’re looking for!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Early Access

If you’re a Nordstrom card holder I’m sure I don’t have to tell you that early access to the Anniversary Sale started this morning!  For those that aren’t, it opens to the public on July 21st.  The good news is that you can add items to your cart now but the sale prices won’t show until then.

This was my first year as a card holder and I wasn’t going to waste a single second getting in on the goods!  I actually set my alarm for 3:00 am and did my online shopping then.  Crazy.  I know.  But, last year a lot of the items that I had my eye on sold out in the colors and sizes I wanted.  I am so darn excited that I got in early this year.

There were SO many good options to choose from.  If you aren’t familiar with the sale, these are NEW items debuting for the fall season that are marked down up to 40% off!  After the sale they will return to full price.  We may all still be in full summer mode but think ahead to the staples you’ll need this fall.  It’s a great way to save!  Here are my top picks:

BP. Ruffle Cold Shoulder Sweater – So I have a similar sweater in green but this one is more lightweight and neutral.  It also comes in a color called Purple Shade that looks like a light pink on my computer.  I almost went with that but ultimately decided on gray.  Can you imagine making these kind of decisions before 4:00 am?! Ha!

Caslon Drape Jacket – I love this length jacket for fall days.  It’s light weight which is great for layering.  It comes it other colors as well.

Lush Ruffle Tee Dress – Lush has never let me down.  I adore the ruffle sleeves and literally can’t wait to get my hands on this little number which I will definitely be wearing before fall!  Comes in additional colors.

Rebecca Minkoff Small Love Nubuck Crossbody Bag – The struggle was real on choosing a color!  It also comes in a metallic gold that I REALLY want as well!  Both would go with so much of my wardrobe but olive it is.

Dolce Vita Hendrix Studded Sandal – I’ve had my eye on something very similar for about a month now but after seeing this I pulled the trigger on this studded gem.  I’m loving the block heel trend and the neutral color will go with everything.  Also available in black.

BP. Lightweight Rib Stitch Cardigan – I missed out on last year’s version of this and was super bummed!  I pretty much live in open cardis most of the year so I was happy to be able to add not one but two of these to my collection!  I also chose the burgundy stem but the truth is I want them all!

Leith Circle Cardigan – This is definitely one not to be missed!  It comes in several colors but blush was a must have for me.

Vince Camuto Francia Bootie – This is another item that I missed out on in my size last year (in last year’s version).  I later found them in black and love them so much I was determined to get the tan version this year.  These are so versatile.  I will wear them with shorts, dresses, skinny jeans, joggers, etc.

BaubleBar Luisa Tassel Drop Earrings – I have been drooling over this tiered style of tassel earrings for several months now but have never seen them less than $50…..until now!  This color will go with so much of what I have.

Spanx Power Short Mid Thigh Shaper – This one might seem kind of random but sometimes you need a little extra support or coverage in tighter fitting dresses.  I have an off brand of these that work good enough but for this price it was time to upgrade!

Later in the day I actually discovered a pair of jeans that I want that are already sold out in my size.  Sometimes items are restocked so if this happens to you just keep checking back.  I know I will!

There was only so much I could shop for that early in the morning but I’ve since seen some great beauty buys as well.  I’ve literally been on the go all day and haven’t had time to really dissect that yet but it’s worth checking out that category as well.

I hope you are able to get some of these amazing deals!  I would love to hear what else you find.

Shopbop So Luxe Sale

The sales this week just keep coming!  Today is the last day of the Shopbob So Luxe Sale featuring designer goods for MAJOR discounts!  There are so many goodies to be had but I narrowed it down to some of my favorite deals.  Be sure to use SOLUXE at checkout to maximize savings!

Free People Bralette – I found myself wearing regular bras less and less.  Bralettes are just so much more comfortable.  Love the strappy detail on the front of this one.  I ordered it in moss but it also comes in coral.  For less than $7, don’t miss this one!

Current/Elliott Stiletto Jeans – If you’re like me, jeans are not a part of my summer wardrobe.  But, fall will be here before you know it and these gray skinnies are something worth stocking up on now.

Dolce Vita Sandals – I cannot resist a good wrap sandal/shoe.  These are simply adorable and a great neutral.  DV is one of my favorite shoe brands.  Great quality and consistently on trend.

Dolce Vita Sandals – I couldn’t just pick one from this brand!  These are so good.  Love the lace up heel and the block heel is so on trend.  Give yourself a break from stilettos and add these to your shoe collection.  Personally I find this style as comfortable as a wedge but feel a little dressier in them.

Free People Pluto Tee – this also comes in black.  Amp up a basic tee look with this asymmetrical flowy tee.

Tory Burch Round Mirrored Sunglasses – round and mirrored are two of the hottest trends in eyewear this summer.  This color totally has me swooning!

Free People Joggers – I’ve been on the hunt for a blush colored jogger since my original pair has seen better days!  These are a phenomenal deal but there are only a few left.  I apologize if they are sold out by the time you see this but Free People does have some other joggers available if you do a search.  Joggers are my go to travel pants.

Free People Romper – if you know me you know I love Free People and a good romper.  There is so much to love about this one – the ruffle and assymetrical detailing and the price to name a few!

Rebecca Minkoff Clutch – what’s not to love here?? Love Rebecca Minkoff and this gold clutch will go with everything!  How about those tassels? Love!

Happy Shopping!  I would love to hear about your purchases.

Prime Day!

This is my first year jumping on the Prime Day train!  I scored a couple great deals and have a few more on my list.  See what I have my eye on below but act quick if you are interested.  Items are selling out quick and the sale is almost over.

Alo Goddess Leggings – I have a pair of these and they are a major staple.  Don’t miss this deal!

Giant Flamingo Pool Float – We have a smaller version of this.  So super cute!  Think we might need to UPGRADE!!

Levi’s Denim Jacket – A denim jacket should be a staple in your wardrobe.  If you don’t have one or need an update, go to one of the leading denim makers.  No regrets!

Ray-Ban Round Mirrored Sunglasses – Ray-Bans are definitely my go tos and these are perfectly on trend with the round and mirrored lenses.

Rebecca Minkoff Finn Crossbody – I have this bag in navy and it’s one of my faves!!  Seriously don’t miss this deal.

Kendra Scott Druzy Necklace Earring Set – Every.Single.Piece. of Kendra I own is my fave.  Love the rose gold and simplicity of this set.

Magnification Mirror – I ordered this immediately upon recommendation from a trusted source.  It has great reviews.  I have a mag mirror and it’s just ok.  This one seems great and has a money back guarantee so I thought it was worth a shot.

Not that I need to spend more but what deals have you found today??

Ruffle Romper

Monteau Romper, similar HERE, HERE, HERE // Michael Kors Wedges, similar HERE // Stella & Dot Bracelet // Aussie Rose LipSense // Tom Ford Sunglasses // Louis Vuitton Neverfull

One thing I never get sick of are ruffles.  They’re so girly and, bonus, totally on trend!  I couldn’t be happier that rompers stuck around for another season.  The combo just screams feminine.

I found this gorgeous coral ruffle romper at Marshall’s a few weeks ago.  HERE, HERE, and HERE are some others that I’m crushing on.

Of course this would be adorable with some flat sandals or sneakers but I went for an elevated looks with my Michael Kors wedges.  HERE is a similar pair.

I’m loving trying out new lip colors now that I found something that actually stays on my lips!  This color is Aussie Rose by Lipsense.  It looks great with this romper but I’ve been wearing it on repeat with other colors as well.  Looks fantastic with navy!

Stay cool!

Embroidered Dress

Rebellion Again Dress // Catherine Malandrino Shoes // Sugarfix by BaubleBar Earrings // BaubleBar Bracelet

If you haven’t jumped aboard the embroidered trend train yet, it’s not too late!  I was a late adopter myself.  I found this adorable seersucker, fringe, embroidered off the shoulder dress at TJ Maxx recently and had to have it as my first piece!

Of course, now I’m on the hunt to add to my collection!  Here are some options I have my eye on:

I hope you had a wonderful weekend celebrating the great US of A!

Sleeveless Jersey Dress / Gladiator Sandals

H&M Dress // Mossimo Sandals // Stella & Dot Necklace, similar HERE // Stella & Dot Choker // LipSense Kiss for a Cause // Fitbit Blaze // Fitbit Rose Gold Band // Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM Handbag // Ray-Ban Sunglasses

I wear muscle tees on the regular so finding one in a dress version was a must buy for me!  This sleeveless jersey dress also comes in gray and is less than $13!  It’s soft and a great piece to have on hand for running around in.  It would super cute with sneakers and I could see dressing it up a bit more with some wedges as well.

I have a great pair of knee high gladiator sandals that I love but this ankle high rock stud version was just too cute to pass up!  They are almost a perfect dupe for a pair Valentino makes!  I have to say they are pretty comfortable and great quality.  It is an extra step to have to buckle and unbuckle the top two buckles but totally worth it.  (I don’t need to mess with the bottom buckle when taking on and off).  They also come in black and white.  I’ve already been wearing these on repeat in the few short days that I’ve owned them!

To give a pop of summer color I wore this pink tassel necklace.  It’s no longer available but HERE is something similar.

Lastly, I could not wait to get my hands on this lip color once it was restocked!  It’s so so pretty.  It’s made by LipSense and the color is Kiss for a Cause.  I have one left so click HERE to order or message me.  I may be able to get more if there is interest.

I hope you are having a great weekend! Funeral, grad party, golf, fun with friends, and birthday parties over here.

One Shoulder Ruffle Dress

Cloth & Stone Dress, similar HERE // Tory Burch Flip Flops // Similar Handbag // Cara Earrings, similar HERE // Stella & Dot Choker // Lipsense Blu-Red Lip // Tom Ford Sunglasses

It’s been awhile since I’ve rocked a one shoulder dress but this ruffle version in white caught my eye.  It’s definitely one of those pieces that can be dressed up or down.  I found this one recently at TJ Maxx.  They often carry Cloth & Stone items which I’m a huge fan of.  HERE is a similar one shoulder ruffle dress.

I kept it comfortable with my Tory Burch Miller Flip Flops in the color Makeup.  You can never have enough nude shoes.  They go with everything!

I randomly found these Cara earrings at Nordstrom Rack last week and have already gotten so many compliments on them.  They were $12.99! They aren’t available on their website but HERE is a similar pair.

I’m so happy to be able to wear a red lip without worrying about it getting all over my teeth and glasses.  This gorgeous red is Blu-Red.  If you didn’t see my announcement last week, I decided to become a distributor for Senengence.  Their premiere product is LipSense, a pharmaceutical-grade cosmetic product with pure pigments and natural botanicals. It’s the best blend of science and nature. LipSense is gluten-free, vegan, kosher, non-GMO, contains no lead and no animal by-products. Pompom Hat // Boho top

Free People Top, also HERE // Rag & Bone Shorts // Birkenstock Sandals // Sugarfix by Bauble Bar Earrings // Rebecca Minkoff Handbag // BCBG Hat // FitBit Blaze // FitBit Rose Gold Band // Similar Sunglasses

This boho top is another one of my scores from TJ Maxx last week.  Don’t worry I found it HERE and HERE for you!  I love everything about it from the asymmetrical shoulder straps to the blush bead embellishment.  I have to admit I thought the straps were a stitching flaw when I first noticed but quickly realized it’s supposed to be that way.  So unique!  It’s so flowy and lightweight for these hot summer days.  I have mine positioned to just graze the top of my shorts but you can adjust it up or down.  I’m wearing an XS for reference.

Have you tried Poshmark yet?  It’s a great tool to buy and sell new or used items.  I’ve bought and sold quite a few things since I joined including these Rag & Bone Destroyed Denim Shorts.  I mean you can pay full retail price HERE but I got these for $20 (used) on Poshmark!  They are a size bigger than I normally wear in their jeans but I like my shorts a little bigger for more length.

These Birks!!  I’ve been wearing them nonstop since the cold temps went bye bye.  So comfy and I just love the look.

Could this pompom hat BE any cuter (Chandler Bing reference for you Friends fans 😉 ) ?  I can’t get enough pompoms in my life and I’ve been making more of an effort to wear hats more often to protect my face from the sun.  Today’s goal was to cover as much of my humidity soaked hair!  Nothing like blowing out your hair and then rain and humidity striking hours later.  I’m not mad though.  The rain saved me from having to water my landscaping!

I was lucky enough to see U2 in LA last month.  This week they added Detroit to their tour and guess who got tickets?? I’m so pumped and kind of water to go to a concert every other week.  Why didn’t I plan to go to a festival this year?
